Let's chat Lemon Wonder. The crazy wonderful 36' trailer we call home.
Why do we call her Lemon Wonder? Well... she's been a lemon since we got her in January 2017. We moved in in April of 2017 and continued finding problem after problem and concern after concern. We've been making lemonade ever since. I'll go into all the adventures and issues another time but they didn't stop us from jumping in feet first into living in 200 sqft.
This past April marked 2 years since we started our Tiny Home journey. We started operation #downsizeeverything and haven't looked back even though it's come with some incredible challenges. Knowing then what I know now, I may have chosen a different trailer but I wouldn't trade this tiny home lifestyle and all that it has taught us for much of anything.
Most days our home looks like some variety of this:
While this is much more tidy than normal and I haven't seen that much counter space in months, It's generally cramped and there are many things vying for my attention.
Our current struggles are: Where the heck do we put all our homeschool supplies, How on earth did we get so many clothes, Where should we put all the shoes, Where to keep the bunny on hot days when she needs to come inside and more!
Just because our space is smaller doesn't me we have life together and a picture perfect home. What we do have and I can count on daily is a family who LOVES being together, a husband who daily works to provide better for us, and a selfless momma who generously gives up most of her back yard for us to live life both in a trailer and outside! And for these things, I'm forever grateful!
