Celebrations

What a great two days! Yesterday we celebrated Thanksgiving! I'm not sure how everyone else celebrates but in our house, the majority of the family played video games & watched TV while I cooked & cleaned up. It was just my momma, my husband, myself & the kiddos. Momma helped watch the littlest while I baked and cooked, mixed & stuffed! What a fulfilling day to be able to lay out a spread before your family and enjoy a nice (BIG) meal together.
Today I celebrated by plopping my tush on the couch and spending money on Amazon. Oh how I love lightening deals and the ease of shopping with Amazon. I've done TONS of surveys & contests and earned quite a bit of amazon money. Not quite enough to have a "free" christmas at this point but A LOT more than I had last year. We also decided to change up Christmas this year & only give 4 gifts to each of the kiddos: Something you want, something you need, something to wear & something to read. This had really streamlined my shopping & helped me to focus more on individual needs!
I'm really looking forward to getting all these packages & the time I get to give them on Christmas. I'll make another post at a later date about the survey sites I use & what I've had the most success with!
